Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 26, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of tutoring services by R2 Academy Tutoring (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to students and their parents/guardians (“you” or “the Client”). By submitting our intake form, scheduling sessions, or making payment, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payment & Fees

Tutoring fees are charged per session and discussed individually based on the student’s needs.
Payment is due on a monthly basis. Clients will receive an invoice at the end of each month outlining the sessions attended.
Accepted payment methods: Credit or Debit Card.
All sessions booked and attended are billable.

2. Late Payments

Payment must be received by the due date indicated on the invoice.
Any balance unpaid after 7 days of the due date will incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance.
If payment is not received within 14 days, tutoring services may be suspended until the account is settled.
Clients remain responsible for all outstanding fees.

3. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session without penalty.
If a session is missed without cancellation:
- The first occurrence will be excused (no charge).
- Any subsequent missed sessions without notice will be charged at the full session rate.

4. Prepaid Sessions & Refunds

If a client chooses to prepay for sessions, unused prepaid amounts will be applied as credit toward future sessions.
Prepaid sessions are non-refundable but may be transferred as credits to future tutoring.

5. Tutoring Format

Sessions may be conducted online (Zoom or other platforms) or in-person depending on the student’s needs and availability.
For in-person sessions, parents/guardians are responsible for providing a safe and appropriate learning environment.

6. Service Commitment & Disclaimer

Tutors will make every reasonable effort to support student learning and academic growth.
However, R2 Academy Tutoring does not guarantee specific grades, test results, or academic outcomes.

7. Termination of Services

R2 Academy Tutoring reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
- Payments are not made in accordance with this Agreement.
- Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows occur.
- The Client otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.
Clients remain responsible for any outstanding fees up to the date of termination.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
